This production cut the following: "Goodbye, My Lady Love", "Hey, Feller", and "Kim's Imitations" (with "Eccentric Dance" and "Tap Dance"). "Goodbye, My Lady Love" was replaced with a previous Kern song "How'd You Like to Spoon With Me?". "Kim's Imitations" was replaced with a new song written for Edith Day (who played Magnolia/Kim) called "Dance Away the Night". A song called "Me and My Boss" was written for Paul Robeson as Joe but never performed.
