Trivia & History
Carol Burnett and Rock Hudson toured again in I Do! I Do! the following summer. That production played in Dallas; Washington, D.C.; and St. Louis. Gower Champion, the director of the original production, was involved in the production documented on this page, for which the original set design by Oliver Smith was employed. Champion was not directly involved in the 1974 tour, and different designers were ciredited. In fact, as far as we have been able to find so far, no set designer was credited in the later tour.
