Trivia & History
The production closed at the 252-seat Renata Theatre with the intention of moving to the 150-seat Sullivan Street Playhouse and cutting down the cast and staff, but producer Stella Holt and the unions were not able to come to an agreement. It had been announced that performances would resume on January 3, 1958, at the Sullivan Street, but the reopening was canceled.
