Trivia & History
Pia Zadora, perhaps best known for her off-stage life in the 1980s, was very well received in this production. Critics all made sure to point out that on top of singing fantastically well (which wouldn't have been surprising, given her oddly successful recording career) she had actually developed some acting talent. Most felt that she would have been better recieved in a better production.
