Trivia & History
This was scheduled as a special event on the first night of the BBC2 network, which was to have been April 20, 1964. As it turned out, the first night was a bust: there was a major power failure in London, affecting the studios. The production was shown the next day. A good copy of the production exists and has been shown at the National Film Theatre in London.
