Originally a cinema, it was converted into a dinner theatre in 1977 and remained so until the mid-1980s.
The orchestra seats were removed and replaced with tables for food service. The kitchen was built on the east site and a bar was added in the lobby. The balcony remained theatre seating.
The auditorium was semi-circular and boasted Roman columns framing painted fabric murals on the walls which represented the four seasons.
