Trivia & History
Located in the Winter Gardens, a complex of ballrooms and theatres.
There was extensive renovation in 1885 at which time a new proscenium was intalled and the rake of the main floor was tilted.
Movies were shown in the 1930s. This was followed by a long period of disuse. It has now been restored.
