Playbills for the original Broadway production, its associated tours, and the first London production listed the title as "The Tailor, Motel Kamzoil." as "Tevye's Dream." The original LP issue of the cast recording listed it as "Tevye's Dream (The Tailor Motel Kamzoil)," with no apostrophe in the title in parentheses, unlike the playbills. Later CD issues listed the as "The Dream."
