This consisted of two one-acts, the first of which was a play, while the second was a mini-musical. Part one — "The First" — told the story of a modern-day Adam and Eve at the World's Fair. Part two — "5 A.M. Jazz" — was about a Western hero who makes love to a former girlfriend in a hotel room in Las Vegas and leaves her to run for the Senate.

Part two of a bill of two-one act plays. The songs were all in this part. Part one was titled 'The First'.
