Based on the Gentlemen Prefer Blondes (1949) with book by Anita Loos and Joseph Fields
As title song during the Broadway run, "Miss Lorelei Lee" replaced "Lorelei", the title song used on the pre-Broadway tour. "Lorelei", however, was retained for the finale only. On both album versions "Lorelei" is used as the title song in the show and the finale. "House on Rittenhouse Square" used in Gentlemen Prefer Blondes as the lead in to "You Say You Care" is used as the lead in to "I Won't Let You Get Away" with the original verse to the latter being dropped.
