Shot by two cameras. The video was shot during at the Maxwell C. King Performing Arts Center in Melbourne, Florida. The production played there December 17-19, 1996. It is sometimes dated as having been shot on the 17th, but we are not sure that is correct.

Perhaps because of the presense of Lee Roy Reams as Cornelius, it is sometimes wrongly identified as being a video of the 1977 pre-Broadway tour that also starred Carol Channing and featured Reams as Cornelius.
