In boom-time Palm Beach, vaudevillians Tip-Toes Kaye, her brother Al, and Uncle Hen plot to pass Tip-Toes as heiress “Roberta Van Renssalaer” to attract eligible millionaire Steve Burton. Steve falls for her before learning the truth, while socialites Sylvia and Rollo Metcalf stir trouble. An accident leaves Tip-Toes briefly thinking she truly is Roberta, fueling mistaken identities and frayed loyalties. On Steve’s yacht and at glittering parties, fortunes reverse, schemes collapse, and sincere affection wins out as Tip-Toes and Steve choose love over money.
