Bob Martin needs money in order to put on musical show that is to star his sweetheart, Polly. His wealthy uncle, Mr. Hemingway, must be convinced that Bob has a wife and child before he will advance Bob a loan. Tilly, the maid, serves as wife, and the janitor's infant serves as progeny. After complications, the ruse ends well for everybody. (Source: Rodgers and Hammerstein Fact Book, edited by Stanley Green, published by The Lynn Farnol Group.)
The music for these dances (author unkown) show 'Toe Dance (Tiller Girls)', 'Drum Dance (Tiller Girls)', 'Tiller Girls Dance' and 'Tiller Girls Encore' but there is nothing to indicate which of these were used where. The program listed them only as 'Dance'.
