Based on the novel by Evan H. Rhodes

After escaping an abusive foster home, Jay-Jay hides out in Central Park, scavenging food and dodging danger. He meets Margie, an eccentric bag-lady who becomes a wary protector, while Elmo and other street kids test his resolve. As authorities close in and loyalties shift, Jay-Jay must choose between returning to a system that failed him or trusting the fragile community he’s built among the park’s outsiders.
