Fay Blake, known as the "Lido Lady, is a famous and beautiful tennis champion. Her father, Rufus Blake, is determined that she marry a man who is as brilliant a sportsman as she is a sportswoman. Harry Bassett, one of Fay's suitors, tries tennis, boxing and golf, but fails at all. In the end, his perserverance finally wins her love and her father's approval.
