Trivia & History

  • There were also three additional untitled, unused pieces. The first was originally written for Der Silbersee, but unused. It was also unused in Marie Galante and, after being discarded from Johnny Johnson, it was used as incidental music with the title "Caravan" in The Eternal Road The second untitled song was a funeral march which later became part of 'The Hangman's Song' in The Firebrand of Florence . The last untitled song was distantly related to the closing chorale in The Threepenny Opera.
