In April 1963, Nicolette Roeg, who is heard as Nancy on this recording, took over the role of Nancy in the original London production of Oliver! and she played the role from then till the end of the run on September 10, 1966.
Tommy Mann, who is heard as Oliver on this recording, played the role of Oliver in the UK tour of Oliver! that started on November 22, 1965. In the tour, he was billed as Tom Mann, at least initially.
A separate singer is heard singing Bet's part in "It's a Fine Life," but the singer is not credited.
