Trivia & History
Due to a threatened musician union strike, this album was recorded while the show was still in rehearsals. Bill Shirley, who was in the cast when the album was recorded, left the show before it opened on Broadway. Sandra Deel, although in the original cast, sings two songs (one with composer Hugh Martin) that were done on the stage by Virginia Gibson and Don Liberto.
