The tryout at the Shubert in Boston was originally supposed to run through June 17, then it was announced that it would be cut short by a week, but then part of the cut week was restored, with the production closing in Boston on Wednesday, June 14.
After closing on Broadway, the production played at the 1940 New York World\'s Fair.
