See MoreDuring the pre-Broadway tryout, Herbert Ross was called in to provide choreography. Originally, there was to be no real choreography, just walking patterns, to be staged by Wakefield Poole, credited as the "Choreographic Associate." Herbert Ross also took over as director, although he received no credit for his work as director. He did receive credit as choreographer, with Wakefield Poole also retaining his "Choreographic Associate" credit.
